Lamarque Guitars is proud to introduce the brand new Short-Range Humbuckers - the first humbucking pickup ever designed specifically for Fender Jazz Bass style instruments.
 
This new upgrade brings an unmistakable new voice to the Jazz Bass. Expect a warmer, fuller version of the classic punchy, bright tone that's been the beating heart of bands for over 6 decades. There are no PCB boards or batteries that have become common with aftermarket pickups - this is simply a clever reinterpretation of the classic fender recipe.
 
Alnico 5 rod magnets are seated into custom-made vulcanized fibreboard flatwork bobbins. 43-awg wire is used to get the most out of the compact space producing a DC resistance outputs similar to vintage style Jazz Bass pickups.
 
To ensure maximum articulation the magnets in each of the four coils are uniquely spaced to match the natural path of the strings. Custom drilled pickup covers add a subtle aesthetic touch to compliment your new sound.
 
Fitting your new pickups is easy - if your bass is routed for traditional Jazz Bass singlecoils then the Short-Range Humbuckers will fit perfectly without any modifications. Screws and mounting foam are included. 
 
Every set of pickups is handmade in Scotland and each pick will have a unique DC resistance output. Please use the 'Currently available' pull-down menu to see what specs are in stock and choose your preferred set from the 'Batch number/Build number' menu. This means that you know exactly what you're buying.
